Students will explore how the physical world works by building systems that move objects using water. Through open-ended play with large gutters, toy boats, cars, water tables, balls, and plenty of water, students will experiment with creativity, problem-solving, and core STEM concepts. As they build and test their designs, they’ll discover how versatile these materials are and learn foundational physics in a fun, hands-on way.

To participate fully, students should wear water-friendly clothing or bring a change of clothes. Shoes that can get wet are especially important. Towels are not necessary.

On occasion, students will watch a few very short videos (like backyard Hot Wheels ramps) to help them visualize concepts like motion, ramps, and water flow. These clips provide helpful examples that inspire new building strategies.

Join us for a summer of watery, sun-filled exploration!
