In this class, students will learn the two-on-two "parliamentary debate" style used in California high school debate competitions. Students will learn to orally advocate on both sides of complex topics, and they will learn how to find strong evidence and reliable sources to support their arguments. Students will also learn basic debate theory to help them prepare for competing in debate at the high-school level.
Tech & Video Content: Laptops will be used for internet access for research purposes.
