Explore one of China’s most iconic cultural traditions through the art of Mahjong! In this hands-on strategy and culture class, students will learn the meaning of Mahjong tiles, patterns, and symbols, and discover how the game reflects Chinese history, family traditions, and regional identity.
Students will practice logic, pattern recognition, strategic thinking, and teamwork as they learn how to read tiles, form sets, and plan moves. Through guided play, cultural mini-lessons, and collaborative challenges, learners will build confidence while experiencing Mahjong as a meaningful cultural and cognitive activity.
