Little Hands, Big World – Cultural Craft Explorations is a hands-on creative class designed for students in K through Grade 2. In this class, children create simple craft projects and, through the process of making, are introduced to ideas from different cultures around the world.
The class emphasizes learning through making. Through hands-on creating, children are introduced to cultural themes, stories, and everyday life from different parts of the world in an age-appropriate and engaging way. Craft activities serve as a starting point for curiosity, conversation, and creative expression. Students will build early cultural awareness through guided, flexible activities. No prior experience is required.
