It’s time to get typing! Typing is an essential skill that improves with practice. When children begin learning the position of characters on the keyboard at an early age, they are more likely to develop speed and accuracy for the future.
In this entry-level class, students will play fun, interactive keyboarding games that strengthen hand–eye coordination while helping them become familiar with the keyboard. Students will also learn computer etiquette and digital responsibility. Those who wish to take a break from the computer can do so, with alternative activities such as drawing, coloring, or participating in a quiet read-aloud led by a staff member.
Please be advised that both sessions of this course will review the same content.
Tech & Video Content: Students will spend about 45 minutes on the computer each day.
