Global Explorers invites students on an exciting three-week journey around the world—no passport required! Each day, campers “travel” to a new country or region, discovering its geography, culture, stories, and art through hands-on exploration. Every session begins with a brief "departure," where students locate their destination on a map, stamp their passports, and learn fun and fascinating facts about the local language, landscape, and traditions. From there, students jump into creative hands-on projects inspired by each culture, such as Aboriginal dot painting from Australia, paper mosaics from Italy, or papel picado from Mexico. Along the way, they make meaningful connections between art, storytelling, and the idea of a shared global community. Folktales, music, games, and short stories bring each destination to life, showing how people around the world express themselves and their ideas, values, and creativity through art and storytelling. The adventure concludes with a colorful World Expo, where students turn the classroom into a gallery of their global travels, proudly sharing favorite projects and discoveries with their peers and families. Thoughtfully structured yet open-ended, each session encourages curiosity, creativity, and respect—helping young explorers build a joyful appreciation for the wider world.
