In this lively, game-filled course, rising first and second-graders strengthen their math fact skills through hands-on play, quick challenges, and joyful problem-solving. Young mathematicians will explore addition, subtraction, and early grouping concepts while diving into a wide variety of exciting math games and activities.
Students will rotate through favorite classics and new discoveries, including Double Shutter, Shut the Box, Zap, and a collection of logic puzzles that spark flexible thinking. They’ll also enjoy math board games, fast-paced card and dice games for quick number recognition, and activities that encourage students to put numbers together and take them apart in creative ways.
Each game is carefully chosen to help children build confidence, accuracy, and automaticity with math facts—all while having a great time. Repetitive practice, strategic thinking, and collaborative play support essential number sense and lay a strong foundation for future math learning.
