Essay Mastery - Crafting Clear and Concise Prose

NOTE: This is a double period class that meets for periods A&B

Sharpen your essay-writing skills in this summer class. Students will learn practical skills geared toward mastering the art of composing essays under time constraints, as is often demanded in test scenarios. There will be an emphasis on writing with concise clarity. Individual student interests and needs will help dictate the direction of the course while covering a diverse range of subjects and topics. Students will engage in writing assignments, providing them with opportunities to hone their skills. This course integrates peer-editing sessions and teacher conferencing, ensuring a continuous flow of constructive feedback throughout the duration of the session.
