Cursive Handwriting
Grade 3-5

The movement of the hand stimulates the muscles involved in writing as well as the process of thinking. Handwriting, especially with Cursive, structures thought and creativity in a way keyboard and tablet typing can't. The successive construction of letters and words is more fluid and allows children to remember words and bridge ideas. It is a proven fact that Cursive writing improves cognition. This course will review the basics of Print writing and explore the beauty and importance of Cursive handwriting. The goal is to build confidence while improving each student's hand-eye coordination, hand-muscle building and, most importantly, allowing them to construct words, phrases, and sentences with beautiful penmanship. Please be advised that both sessions of this course will review the same content.
