Are you ready to work at Grey-Sloan Memorial Hospital? Do you want to track infectious diseases like a CDC specialist? Together, we’ll explore the fascinating world of epidemiology and human disease. We’ll discuss symptoms and treatments for some of the most famous diseases from TV and movies, and how to think zebras, not horses, when you hear hoofbeats. In small groups, we’ll research the immune system and infectious diseases and treat virtual patients. We’ll also try to solve an ages-old mystery disease, read some of the earliest evidence of dangerous diseases, and look at emerging zoonotic diseases that could end humanity as we know it.
