Dive into the world of science, technology, engineering, art, and math through hands-on activities that invite students to flex their creativity, test their ideas, improve their designs, and explore how things work. In this playful maker space, students will take on engineering challenges, build simple machines, experiment with motion and light, and bring their inventions to life using everyday materials. Projects may include creating DIY kaleidoscopes, designing paper circuits, and launching mini catapults. Throughout the session, students will tackle engaging challenges that encourage curiosity, problem solving, and imaginative thinking. Let the making begin!
Course content may include occasional 5-10 minute videos or Mystery Science lessons where an activity/lesson is framed with a video introduction to a science question
