Sports Stars
Grade 2-4

Over three weeks, students will design their own baseball, football, and soccer teams (one a week) while building skills in writing, math, teamwork, and creative problem-solving. Sports Stars is a creative summer class where students become team owners, select players, and coaches—all in one as they invent team names and mascots, design uniforms and logos, create player trading cards with stats, and maybe develop simple game strategies. Along the way, students practice collaboration, communication, and decision-making as they work together on challenges like choosing plays, creating chants, and planning celebrations. The class blends hands-on art projects, movement, and imaginative play to keep students engaged and energized—no athletic experience required, just a love of sports! Sports Stars is perfect for students who love sports, creativity, or just being part of a team.
