Introduction to Space Exploration
Grade 3-4

In this class, students will learn about the outer world around them and explore it with the Southern California space science community. Students will explore the basics of space exploration. They will study basic space science to learn what, why, and how scientists explore space. Students will engage in hands-on experiments to understand the basic physics and engineering of getting to space. Guests from the Southern California space science community will discuss basic tools used in everyday space exploration.
